2010 Drive For Excellence Event

Desert Honda, working in conjunction with the Clark County School District School-Community Partnership Office, presented Ashley Jannatpour, a senior from Coronado High School, with a new 2010 Honda Fit as the grand prize for this year's Drive for Excellence program. Ashley won the drawing at the event, where more than 500 high school seniors were rewarded for academic excellence and attendance. Students were required to earn a cumulative 3.7 or higher grade point average and no unexcused or unverified absences to attend the celebration. Students participated in games and activities as well as scholarship drawings worth an estimated $7,000, courtesy of Silver State Schools Credit Union. Additional prizes have been donated by Beasley Broadcast Group and Walden University.
